Nose filler is a procedure that involves correcting and refining the shape of the nose using filler material. Also known as non-surgical rhinoplasty, it adds volume to the nose but does not reduce its size.
How Is Nose Filler Performed?
The doctor performs a detailed examination; the procedure is decided upon if the nasal irregularities can be corrected with this method and general health status is suitable. The steps:
- Under local anesthesia, a special numbing solution is applied to the nasal area.
- The selected filler material (generally hyaluronic-acid-based) is injected into the nasal area with fine needles.
- After injection, contouring steps are carried out, such as filling in hollows on the nasal bridge, smoothing the nose-cheek lines, and lifting the nasal tip.
- Results are evaluated, and a few adjustments are made if necessary.
